More about Light-sensitive ink

Sunlight-sensitive ink creates a surprising and playful effect as it changes colour under the influence of sunlight. Initially, the ink looks almost transparent, but as soon as it is exposed to UV radiation, it transforms to a visible, different colour. This makes printed matter dynamic and interactive, and increases the recipient's involvement.

The technique is often used in promotional printing. Think of flyers or greeting cards that only reveal their hidden message outside, or marketing campaigns that capitalise on the element of surprise. As the ink is available in a number of colours, a wide range of creative applications are possible.

The result is printed material that literally comes to life in sunlight. Sunlight-sensitive ink adds an extra dimension to communication and is an eye-catching way to attract and hold attention.
