More about Fluorescent ink

Blacklight ink is a special printing ink that adds invisible elements to printed materials. The ink is slightly glossy and virtually colourless, making it barely visible on most glossy substrates. It is only when blacklight falls on it that a striking, fluorescent print appears. This makes the technique ideal for adding a hidden layer that is normally unnoticeable, but comes to life under specific conditions.

The applications are versatile. Blacklight ink is often used as a security element on securities, parking tickets, prize locks or entrance tickets, where authenticity can be checked quickly and easily. The ink also has a strong impact in the leisure and entertainment sector: in entertainment venues with blacklight lamps, a virtually invisible print can suddenly light up and provide a spectacular effect. With a well-designed layout, creative, surprising applications can be realised that are guaranteed to attract attention.

The ink is available in a transparent glossy version without opaque properties. This makes it possible to print subtle and ‘invisible’ designs that only become visible with the right lighting. Blacklight ink can be used on almost all paper types and colours, although lamination after printing is not possible. Thanks to these features, printing is created that combines security, creativity and surprise in one unique application.
